Below are some testimonials from Canadian exhibitors who attended the 2019 edition of the EduCanada Virtual Fairs in Latin America and the Caribbean:

"The EduCanada Virtual Fair for Latin America and the Caribbean was an amazing event. It was a very innovative way of doing international recruitment without leaving the comfort of your office. We reached out to students from more than 20 countries without spending an incredible amount of resources. The technology used by the FPPEduMedia team was simple, creative and very user-friendly. This was one of the best recruitment events I have ever participated in! We highly recommend it!"

Ariadna Sachdeva, Royal Roads University

"The EduCanada virtual fair was a wonderful and convenient opportunity to meet our potential students, wherever they are, through their phones, tablets or computers. Also, convenient for us as we could engage them directly from our offices in Canada and have our full resources available to assist them. I believe educational institutions have to adapt to the times and to the current generations, which are used to contact everyone at the palm of their hands. Even though face-to-face moments with the students on regular recruitment fairs still have its value, we welcome this change to use technology to reach even more potential students and change their lives through international education. This was the first great event and Niagara College is looking forward to the next EduCanada virtual fairs."

Fernando Gama, Niagara College

"My experience with the virtual fair was very positive; in the four hours of the fair, I had a minimum of seven students in my booth. The quality of students was high overall, and it was a great platform to meet prospects from key markets in Latin America. I will participate in the future and anticipate a few enrolments as a result of attending."

Why Central Asia & Eastern Europe?

As a region, Central Asia & Eastern Europe are seeing an unprecedented number of student recruiters heading its way. An interest in improving language proficiency levels and higher per capita incomes have cemented this region as an attractive market to recruit international students.

Why Should you Attend if you Already Recruit in Person in these Regions?

By way of a virtual fair, you're able to engage the digital generation’s 21st-century student, from the largest cities and the smallest towns without leaving the office. We expect students registrations from over 1,200 different cities in the region.

FPP's unique virtual fair platform has been specifically designed to replicate all the features that exhibitors enjoy at our in-person events, but online.

Event Promotion

FPP’s reputation and track-record in reaching high-quality pre-screened students are unmatched.

As with FPP’s worldwide in-person events, all students registering to attend are heavily screened for their financial capacity and intentions to study abroad. Only students matching our pre-defined criteria will be provided with log-in details to attend the EduCanada Virtual Fair. This will typically equate to 30% - 35% of registering students being accepted.

All exhibiting institutions will have the level of their programs clearly marked so that you are not mistakenly contacted by students looking for a program differing to what you offer.

Whether you are already established in the region by regularly attending FPP’s official EduCanada Fairs or are looking to break into this lucrative and growing student market, this virtual fair is a cost-effective and time-efficient way to recruit from several countries in these regions.

Important information for Canadian education institutions on the EduCanada brand

The EduCanada brand supports the international education offer of Canadian provinces and territories. It is the result of collaboration between the provinces and territories through the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC) and Global Affairs Canada.

The EduCanada brand signals that its holder consistently provides high quality education programs, deals with international students in accordance with recognized codes of practice and is subject to quality assurance mechanisms that monitor adherence to set standards.

Further to the Brand Use Eligibility Policy jointly established by Global Affairs Canada and the CMEC, K-12 schools, post-secondary education institutions and language schools are invited to consult the provincial lists of brand eligible institutions at

Note that only institutions appearing on the provincial lists are eligible to participate in events (i.e. Canada-only fairs, Canada pavilions at third party fairs or other outreach events) organized and/or coordinated by Global Affairs Canada and/or its assigned service provider. If the institution is not on the list, it is not eligible to participate unless written consent is obtained from the province/territory where the institution is located. Questions on this issue should be directed to Aamir Taiyeb at

No promotional material from education agents, including but not limited to, business cards, flyers, brochures, swag or apparel shall be used, displayed or distributed at the booth/table or at the event.
