FPP has been organizing Student Fairs (including many for the Canadian, Australian and New Zealand Governments) for over 15 years. These industry-leading Student Fairs have grown to become the largest student recruitment events in their respective countries, both in terms of exhibitor numbers and pre-screened student attendance. They have been held in dozens of cities in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama and Peru.
In addition to the cities in which FPP holds its Student Fairs, second and third tier cities and towns will also be reached via a comprehensive online marketing campaign. Previous Latin America Virtual Fairs have had registered students from over 1,000 Latin American cities - cities, which Student Fairs and in-person events are unable to reach.
FPP’s student-facing website – EduFindMe.com – has over 1.5 million registered users in Latin America. These users extend beyond the aforementioned countries to also include travel-ready students in Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Venezuela, and several Caribbean countries.
FPP’s student-facing Facebook page - www.facebook.com/EduFindMe - with almost 2 million followers will also be used to promote the event to Latin American students, generating candidates interested in studying in Australia & New Zealand.
As with FPP’s worldwide in-person events, all students registering to attend are heavily screened for their financial capacity and intentions to study abroad. Only students matching our pre-defined criteria will be provided with log-in details to attend the Virtual Fair. This will typically equate to between 30% and 35% of registering students being accepted.
Maximizing Your Virtual Fair Experience
To ensure you’re maximizing your time with your target markets, you have the option to block students from certain countries via the ‘Nationalities Block’ section in your ‘Booth Setup’ area. This enables you to refine the countries of students that can search for your institution and speak with you.
All exhibiting institutions will have the level of their programs clearly marked, so that you are not mistakenly contacted by students looking for a program differing to what you offer.
The Virtual Fair is strategically held on a late afternoon to early evening, so that students can log-in with their parents in-tow. Since the event is entirely virtual, conscientious recruiters can log-in from the comfort of their home.
Both Austrade and Education New Zealand have confirmed their participation and support for the Study in Australia & New Zealand Virtual Fair. These governments are requested to inform their own student database of the event; promote on their respective social media channels, and encourage interested students to register.
Further, both governments will have a booth at the Virtual Fair, providing students with general information on the benefits of studying in their respective countries, while offering support to their member institutions.

Registration Deadline: October 19, 2018
"Organizers" shall mean FPPEDUMedia. "Customer" shall mean any person or persons, firm or company, their servants or agents, or contractors applying for and being allotted space or other services. "Contract" shall mean these Terms and Conditions together with the official online application form for and on behalf of the Organizers and the "Event" shall mean the event stated on the face of the contract or invoice form. "Space" shall mean the area in the EventOnline / building applied for by or allotted to the customer.
2. Applications for Space and Allotments
Application for Space must be made online at the FPPEDU.MEDIA or EDUFINDME.COM sites, all sections of which must be completed and e-signed for and on behalf of the Customer and the allotment of Space by the Organizers shall constitute a contract subject to these Terms and Conditions. Charges for space are stated overleaf and may be subject to alteration. The Customer shall occupy the space allocated to him exclusively as notified on the Contract. The Customer may not assign, sublet, transfer the space or grant licenses in respect of any part of the space allotted to him nor may he advertise firms who are not a party to the Contract.
3. Abandonment and Limitation
a) In the event of abandonment, postponement or cancellation of the Event for any reason or limitation of the use of the Event premises / Online Platform or of any of the services provided therein resulting from circumstances beyond the control of the Organizers or intervention by an outside authority or by a decision found necessary by the Organizers, the Customer shall have no claim against the Organizers in respect of loss, delay, costs, expenses, monies or damage and the Customer\'s liability under this Contract shall not be reduced. b) The Organizers reserve the right to alter the layout of the event in any respect and at any time. Should it be necessary to rearrange the event or transfer it to another location, the Organizers shall be entitled to allot alternative space to the Customer as the Organizers may determine. They will adjust the cost of the space as necessary for the Customer if the space is affected by such alteration but will not be liable to make any further payment or compensation and the Customer will not be entitled to withdraw from the contract. c) In case the Customer does not take possession of the space by the time specified previously on the opening day of the Event, the Organizer reserves the right to allot the space to others without refunding the participation charges already paid.
4. Bankruptcy or Liquidation
In the event of the Customer being declared bankrupt or going into voluntary or compulsory liquidation or failing to observe and perform the obligations or make payment under the terms of the Contract, the Customer may be determined to be in breach of the Contract and all monies paid by the Customer shall be forfeited without prejudice to the right of the Organizers to claim for breach of contract.
5. Risks and Insurance
a) All exhibits articles and other property brought into the event hall by the Customer, shall be at the risk of the Customer. The Organizers shall not be responsible for any loss, damage or destruction occasioned by any cause whatsoever. b) The Customer shall be liable for and agrees to indemnify and keep indemnified the Organizers against any action, liability, costs, claims, expenses, damages and losses (whether loss or profits or otherwise) arising out of any act or omission of whatsoever nature by the Customer within the Event premises. c) The Customer is requested to bring his own power adapters/converters for a stabilized supply of power to their devices, since the Organizer cannot ensure stabilized power supply at all times. d) Customers will be fully responsible for any damage done to the premises, furniture and fixtures provided to them, and the decision of the Organizer in this respect will be final.
Without prejudice to the rights and remedies of the Organizers in respect of any breach of the Contract on the Customer\'s part, the Organizers may at their discretion allow the Customer to withdraw from the Event subject to the following conditions. a) the Customer must give written notice and if this notice is given prior to 90 days of the commencement of the event, a 30% cancellation fee will be applied. b) the Customer must give written notice and if this notice is given prior to 60 days of the commencement of the event, a 50% cancellation fee will be applied. c) if the customer gives notice of cancellation within 60 days of commencement of the event, no cancellation will be permitted and the full amount will remain either payable or no refund will be offered on monies previously paid. d) the Organizers will notify customer of cancellation in writing and from that time will have the right to deal with the space in the way the organizers consider best including the reallocation to another customer. e) when payment of the above amounts to the Organizers is received, the Contract shall be finally cancelled and one part shall have no further claim on the other.
7. Media waiver
I give permission to FPP EDU Media to use photographs or video footage of me, taken at an FPP EDU Media event, for FPP EDU Media promotional purposes only.
Combining In-person and Online Recruitment
Taking place in the second semester, the Study in Australia & New Zealand Virtual Fair complements the in-person Student Fairs and High School Tours in the first semester, and those a month earlier than the Virtual Fair in the second semester – not to mention the AC EXPO in August.
Students that have attended our in-person events in 2018, together with those that have been visited at their high school by a 2017-2018 FPP High School Tour will be invited to attend the Virtual Fair, so long as they have a demonstrable interest in studying in Australia and/or New Zealand.
While the Student Fairs and High School Tours offer in-person recruitment across the main student cities, the Study in Australia & New Zealand Virtual Fair complements this, by providing access to qualified students from hundreds of cities and towns across the region.
