Brazil remains one of the world’s largest international student source countries with over 40,000 Brazilian tertiary students studying abroad annually, and many more enrolled in language or secondary programs. Despite reported political unrest and economic difficulties, the Brazilian Real appreciated against the US Dollar more than any other currency from March 2016 to February 2017, making studying abroad even more affordable. Combined with a deeply-rooted tradition for overseas study, and an unwavering passion and curiosity for all things international, the Brazilian market remains one of the most sought after for foreign universities.
FPP has been organizing Student Fairs in Brazil semi-annually since 2001. These Fairs have grown to become the largest in terms of exhibitor numbers and cities visited per year, and are renowned for attracting high-quality students. FPP’s events in Brazil are now the only students fairs supported by BELTA, (Brazilian Educational & Language Travel Association). In addition, EduCanada and Education New Zealand continue to entrust FPP to organize their official Brazil Fairs.

Recently, the Brazilian government introduced a set of measures to improve the country’s educational performance, including directing 10% of the country’s GDP to education. Further the number of students attending private schools has increased dramatically, as parents ensure that their child is receiving a high level of education, learning in small classes with better facilities.
Although Brazil boasts 11 of the top 30 universities in the entire region, a relatively small proportion of Brazilian students have access to quality higher education. This is partially due to the number of public universities not meeting demand, with now over 70% of students in post-secondary education enrolled at private institutions. Brazilian students are well-aware that the best chances of furthering their education are more likely to be found abroad.
Studying abroad and international travel are as much a part of the Brazilian culture as samba or the sport of futebol. With Brazil very prominent on the global stage following the hosting of the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympics, the desire and intention for Brazilian students to study and travel abroad is stronger than ever before.

"I do FPP fairs so I can speak directly with the students and get an idea of what they are looking for and what the market is. The quality of students is excellent and I think that is very important because you do meet a lot of people at these fairs. But they’re very well screened so we definitely get bookings through it - that’s why I am here."
Blaise Barham
Southern Lakes English College (New Zealand)
"We’ve been attending FPP events in different countries for more than 3 years now. It is a great opportunity for us to meet quality students. They have a tool (the app) to do the follow-up online which is very helpful so we can keep in touch with the students."

"We have been participating in FPP’s fairs for about 4 years now, and participate in all their regions (Latin America, Mexico, Middle East, Asia, Europe, India) and we have had a great turn around. Every fair season for us FPP is a must. I love how user friendly their online portal is. We are able to get students (leads) that match our profile, upload the leads that we collected at fairs and even send them email blasts from the portal. I would definitely recommend FPP to any university that wants great and qualified leads."
Melanie Munoz-Delgado
Full Sail University (USA)

"FPP is not only the best education fair organizer, but is also an important strategic partner for us. They clearly prioritise customer satisfaction and since we first met them 12 years ago, they have constantly outdone themselves in organizing and managing education fairs.
Since 2014 we have been hiring FPP to organize our own event - AC EXPO - the largest education fair in Brazil for students willing to go to Australian and New Zealand. It has been a real pleasure to work with them and the results have been incontestable. I have no doubt that education providers may accomplish very good ROI after an FPP fair."
Vinicius Barreto
