With so many dynamic and fluctuating international student markets in one region, it can be tricky to determine which countries are worth investing in. Colombia, for example, is on the up, sending over 36,000 students overseas each year. Other countries have experienced decreasing numbers, often due to a downturn in their economies, or political changes, or a combination of the two.
Over the last 15 years, FPP has organised fairs in most Latin American countries. Panama City has a population of 1.5 million people, and is considered to be the most cosmopolitan capital in Central America. The city is a regional hub of trade and immigration, bridging the gap between North and South America.
