Spain and Italy have a combined population of approximately 110 million people, with their students contributing to a large proportion of the number of European students studying abroad.
Almost 80,000 Spanish and Italian students study abroad at tertiary level annually – a number, which grows each year. The top destinations for these students and their preferred subject areas vary greatly, with the vast majority studying in the UK, USA, Canada and mainland Europe.
FPP has been organizing student fairs in Spain and Italy for almost 10 years, with a gradual increase in both exhibiting educational institutions, and high-quality pre-screened students over this time. Representation from attending exhibitors is widespread, with institutions from several countries returning year-on-year. As the only student recruitment organizer in both Italy and Spain, FPP has developed an unrivalled expertise in the region.

Why Recruit in Europe?

The quality of students in Europe is ever improving. In 2014, top UK universities saw a 13% increase in the number of students enrolled from EU member states. Around half a million Europeans study abroad each year, and account for nearly a quarter of all internationally mobile students within Europe. Spain and Italy are home to some of the top student cities in the world, providing a great variety of quality students in both countries.

Spain has a population of 47 million, with around 15% aged between 15-30. Over 28,000 Spanish students are currently studying abroad with the top destinations being: UK, Germany, USA and France, with many other mainland European countries receiving high numbers of Spanish students.

Italy ranks 6th in the world and 2nd in Europe in terms of the number of students it has studying abroad each year. Almost 50,000 Italian students are continuing their tertiary education abroad, in countries such as the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland and USA - all receiving more than 5000 students each. Italy has a population of approximately 60 million, and similar to Spain, has about 15% of the population between the age of 15-30.

"FPP is not only the best education fair organizer, but is also an important strategic partner for us. They clearly prioritise customer satisfaction and since we first met them 12 years ago, they have constantly outdone themselves in organizing and managing education fairs.
Since 2014 we have been hiring FPP to organize our own event - AC EXPO - the largest education fair in Brazil for students willing to go to Australian and New Zealand. It has been a real pleasure to work with them and the results have been incontestable. I have no doubt that education providers may accomplish very good ROI after an FPP fair."

Vinicius Barreto
Australian Centre (Brazil, Colombia, Australia)

"We have been working with FPP for 8 years. It has been really good working with them, the organisation and quality of students is very good. We recommend FPP and EDUEXPOS."

Vitor Meneghetti
Hello Study (Brazil & Australia)

"We’ve been doing FPP for the past four and a half years, because of the quality of students. The number of applications that are converting are really good. It is part of our marketing plan every year now."
